When to Use a Certain Purchase Item (Starts with an A)

Hi all!

I've encountered a dilemma. I have the >!chess puzzle!< completed and chose the>!pawn!<(just wanted to try out all the abilities and the>!armory!<). From the >!armory!<I was able to purchase the >!torch!< the first time I drafted it and didn't have any rooms to use it on). Now I've only been able to buy >!the axe!<, >!I've used it 2 times for show room and attic!<. I have drafted >!the armory!< like 5 times now and >!keep getting the axe instead of the torch.!< I know if I use >!the axe!< a 3rd time I will guarantee >!a torch spawn!<. This is where the dilemma begins. From reading online, the >!throne room!< is a popular choice to >!axe!<. Since I have yet to discover the >!throne room!< (IK I shouldn't have spoiled it for myself), I'm hesitant to use the >!axe for the 3rd and final time!<. So the question is, do I >!axe!< a room other than the >!throne room!< so I can complete puzzles which require >!the torch!<?
