Biggest regret

Discussion

September 15th, 2024 still messes with my head.

I came over from the Netherlands and planned a big part of my trip around that show. At one point I actually had tickets ready to go… and then my bank blocked the payment. This happened twice at different times in run-up to this concert. I later got it figured out with my Dutch bank, but the damage was done. The prices were too high for me afterwards. So I took the chance to see him in Baltimore two nights before. Great show, but after hearing about how special the AB show was, and the legacy it carried afterwards, especially now with the boxset coming out.. I still have the biggest regret over this missed opportunity. In hindsight, I would've paid even the most expensive ticket just to be there or figure something out to attend that night if only I knew how special it was going to be, but that moment is gone. Probably never coming back. And I just hate how this still wrecks me to this day. I hope I don't sound too complaining, I understand how some aren't even that lucky to even see him live. But I just wanted to find rejoice in this sub and hopefully hear similar stories about your biggest misses concerning Springsteen or things you regret. Hopefully some can relate / understand, and maybe help with this weird still ongoing healing process.

ps. as a consolation price I treated myself to see him on the last night in San Siro in 2025. Thinking if something special might happen, it would be this night. Still great, yet unfortunately the show itself followed a static predictable set and it made the whole missed opportunity the year earlier even worse. I just can't seem to get over it, and the hardest part is most people can't seem to understand how this still affects me to this day. I really hope some here might know what I mean. And maybe help me find peace, make sense or put things in perspective. Thanks for reading this story. Please be kind
