If my issue is my disc drive, is there any other option to repair or do I fork over 80$

My Original Xbox reads the games but they freeze like not long into gameplay. 90% of the time it just freezes on a loading screen, and for some reason I can still play one game, and that's Tom Clancy: Blacklist and I'm so sick of it
