Which title would get higher CTR? Even AI models can’t agree (2 vs 2)
I ran a real CTR experiment across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini & Grok… results are split 🤯
I’m trying to optimize titles for SEO (AI tools niche), so I tested something interesting:
👉 Same query
👉 Same data (impressions)
👉 Asked 4 AI models to rate CTR
🧪 The Test
Option 1
“Grok Video Generation & Aurora Voice (April 2026): Who Has Access?”
Option 2
“Grok Voice Mode Is Available Now — Here’s How to Turn It On”
📊 Search Impressions (24h sample)
- “grok voice mode availability 2026”
- “does grok have video generation april 2026”
- “grok voice feature availability”
(mix of availability + feature intent)
🤖 AI Results
- Grok → Option 1 (9/10)
- ChatGPT → Option 2 (9.6/10)
- Gemini → Option 1 (9/10)
- Claude → Option 2 (8.5/10)
👉 So it’s literally 2 vs 2
🧠 My Observation
- Option 1 = better for feature-based queries (video, specs)
- Option 2 = better for action/intent queries (“how to enable”, “available now”)
❓ Where I’m stuck
Should CTR be optimized for:
👉 search intent match (Option 2)
OR
👉 feature-rich curiosity hook (Option 1)
