Spring

I put a new exhaust valve spring on a week or two ago and ever since I feel like it’s a lot quitter than it was before I put the new spring on is there a reason for that? I’m 85 percent sure the exhaust is opening fully but I cannot see the valve completely because of the mbrp exhaust I have
