Am I kicked out the LGBTQ community because I don’t care about JK Rowling’s personal opinions?

Tons of artists/actors/writers/etc have been terrible people. Like REALLY bad people. We still consume their work. Why is it any different in this one particular case? I just got told “you can’t sit with us”. Literally. Am I the only one that truly separates the work from the artist anymore?
