Confused by cycle after lap

I had my lap last week, which was only 5 days before my period was due. In the days following the lap, I bled (not heavily, kind of medium?). So now I’m really unclear when my period should come. Was that bleeding my period, or just bleeding from the lap? I would have already been in my luteal phase so I’m guessing it is just going to be a light period since most of the blood already cleared?

My Dr said I am clear to have sex/ttc two weeks after lap. I just want to know my period so I know when/if I will be fertile in 2 weeks. The next cycle, I was going to do a transfer. I kind of wanted to try naturally during the cycle inbetween but it is going to be confusing it seems.

Any ideas? If your lap was close to when your period was due, what happened to your period?
