42M Lets Talk About Pizza or Something
Okay, I'd like to address one thing before I begin -- yes, my account still has that fresh, new car scent. Am I a new Redditor? Not really. I have this weird cycle where I'm a dedicated user for a while, then things cool off, I decide to delete my account because I'm not using it much, then after a few months I come back to Reddit. I know I shouldn't do that -- this is my third account I've started. Look past that and I think we could get along pretty well. That's the hope at least.
Thanks for sticking with me so far. Why am I here? I know that part is obvious, but I'd like to meet someone or a few someones. I work a social-facing job, but I'm not able to be sociable. Professional communication is tiring and really, I just want to shoot the breeze with folks and maybe make some long-term friends. I've met a few great people here in the past. Sadly, all those connections have fizzled out over the years -- I get it, priorities change, we change and that's part of life. But! I'd like to press forward and see how long we can stay in touch. Maybe years? That really would be nice.
So, where to begin... My favorite ice breaker is this -- what is your worst pizza you've ever had? Pizza is one of those things that most people enjoy. We've all had great pizza (I think) and good pizza is easy to come by anywhere you are. Bad pizza is rare. So rare the experience sticks with us. If you send a reply, tell me tell me what the worst pizza you've ever eaten was. I'll tell you about the shockingly bad Domino's pizza I had.
We'll start there and hopefully; things blossom beyond that.
Thanks for reading this far. I look forward to meeting you!
