IGCSE Economics Discuss Question - Conclusion?

To get 8/8 on your discuss question, do you really need a conclusion? My teacher says you don't need to add one so just save your time, but reading online, so many sources have said it's necessary to get an 8/8! I'm worried that he's over marking my mocks so did anyone who's already done their exams and got an 8/8 on discuss without a conclusion let me know? or anyone that knows for sure if you need it or not!!
