Broke my third install in 2 days, should I consider another distro.

A bit of backround first, I have been able to use mint for web browsing for about 3 months with no issues, so I though I would try to do some gaming with fedora by installing it on a old gaming laptop i have, but I have messed up will doing things in the terminal, the first two time i broke fedora was trying to install nividia drivers via a methoud from a post install guide and help from chatgpt when the guide did not work. The most recent time was when I tried to have 2 luks encyrpted drives and have them both unlock at boot, when a password was entered, i must off messed up someware because I was able to get both drives to unlock at startup but steam could not find the drive.

This has got me thinking that fedora may be to complex for me and that i should try something else.
