CrealityScan software questions

I'm a new user with an Otter Lite. I have done a few scans and each one gets better but I've got some real gripes with the software. It's probably ignorance on my part but I cannot figure out how to undo an align nor can I figure out how to get a scan lined up correctly on the XYZ planes. When I rotate it, it twists all sorts of weird directions and it's almost impossible to line things up correctly. When I try to set the pivot point it seems to set the point on its own. I've never seen a program so incomplete and/or difficult to find instructions for what should be simple processes.
