Transfer Students: Does CUNY not evaluate my credits before I make a decision?

I filled out a transfer application and I applied to 4 different CUNY schools. 2 of which offered me admission yet the transcripts I've sent them were not evaluated. Is this standard practice? Can I ask to have my transcripts evaluated before I make a final decision on which school I want to proceed with? Any insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
