Two versions of Skyrim?

I have a pre ae version of Skyrim o I play on because some mods I like are not supported on the ae version and was wondering if it was possible to install a second version on steam that is the anniversary edition to play on and still keep my pre ae version at the same time? And if you could explain in detail how to do this if possible or share a video tutorial please that would be appreciated. Thank you.
