Is it worth it to transfer from UC Berkeley to Northwestern or Uchicago?

Got into UC Berkeley College of Letters & Sciences as a freshman, heard its really competitive for internships and research opportunities there, and since im genuinely not interested in buisness im not applying to Haas, im wondering if i should transfer to another private school for the second year?

My application major in College of Letters & Sciences is econ, and since UC berkeley has a reputation for the top econ program, idk if i should transfer...also i heard theres not many research opportunities in Uchicago?

Please give me advice😭
