I tried to replace the battery on my samsung galaxy s8 and now the screen wont work :(
So the battery on my s8 is about 8 years old now and it would get really hot when charging so I ordered a new battery online. I removed the back glass and unscrewed everything that was in the way of the battery and stopped there because I was scared to damage the battery and cause it to set on fire or explode. So I took the phone to a shop and the guy removed the old battery and put in the new one but when i tried to turn on the phone the phone would just vibrate and the led would be flashing blue and the display wouldnt turn on. He told me there and then that the display was the problem. However, the display was working perfectly fine and isnt even cracked before I opened the back of the phone to remove the battery he even showed me the ribbon that connects the display to the rest of the phone and said it wasnt damaged. I really dont care about the phone I care about the data inside it. Is it possible to transfer the data to another s8? I want to be able to look at everything as I left it before I turned it off to remove the battery please help me im actually going to crash out 8 years worth of memories are just gone.
