I want to make a better massage table warmer. Need your brutal feedback.

Hi LMTs! I’m a heating pad designer who trying to fix why standard massage table warmers always seem to die in 3 months, not heating up fast enough, leave clients with cold feet, or have terrible controllers for oily hands.

I’m working on some new concepts and need your brutal, honest feedback. Are these ideas actually helpful, or just useless gimmicks?

  • 1-Click "Boost" Button: Blasts max heat for 5 mins to quickly warm cold sheets to your set ℉, I noticed that the cover and towels might need to be changed during the 10-minute wait for the next guest, and if the warmer heats up slowly, the bed won't be warm enough. Therefore, I wanted to use this mode to quickly heat the bed to the set temperature.
  • Tactile Dark Room Controller: At a dim light and with oil hands, I think maybe I can design a better and simple controller with ℉, time set(auto off) and a roll button to easy control
  • Zero "Wire-Feel" & Hot Toes: Thicker padding so clients never feel the heating wires, with extra heat concentrated down at the foot of the table.
  • Zero EMI Radiation: I see some clients worried about the EMI problem, actually there are ways to lower it near to 0 for holistic safety and client peace of mind.
  • Lifespan Tracker & Frictionless Warranty: A digital screen showing the pad's actual working hours. The idea is to make warranty claims instant based on its expected lifespan (e.g., 1,500 hours), rather than fighting with customer service after 3 months.

🤔 Two quick questions for your daily workflow:

  1. Cleaning: Do you desperately need it to be machine-washable, or is a silent, wipeable medical-grade cover better?

  2. Voice Control: Would hands-free temp control (like saying "lowering the ℉ to XX?" when your hands are busy) be helpful, or would that completely ruin your room's zen vibe?
