creepy security guards at coaster station

Has anyone else experienced really weird and sketchy security guards at the amtrak / coaster station? It's def not that safest place at night and me and my friend (both female) were waiting at night cause our ride was late... 2 male security guards that were patrolling the area were loitering around us and staring at us, got so uncomfortable and scared we had to basically almost run to the other side of the station where finally our ride had arrived. I was really unsettled because these two men were staring at us and getting closer to us. It was also past midnight as we took the last train, i'll never be taking the train again .... I'm freaked out still.
