Chapter 19:

"This is it, Rin... Let's hope we can protect the Semiconductor." Kiiro powers up his weapons.

"Begin launch in 3...2...1," Rin cues the launching sequence.

They launch in the vast emptiness of space, leaving Kiiro's lab in Cronos orbit.

They resonate to Synthesia, to engage in the final battle for protecting the vital machine.

Rin, flying with her Roach wings and thrusters underneath, is a living armor herself. Created by Kiiro as a wife, when no human wife is willing to make her a husband, she understood Kiiro's plight to 'continue the blessing of life.'

The day after creating Rin...

"I might be mistaken by doing this, but I have done a lot, achieved and failed a lot, also prayed a lot for another after that separation with Life, and i've become lonely. I've stayed lonely because they say God has better plans on me.... it turns out i have to make my happiness... i have to make you," Kiiro says.

Rin understood that he's a broken man. A man who expected nothing of the world, and made the world work without anything in return. He has seen millions of men fail because they have been mislead by their avarice over conducting service of the world. over time, he has tried to prove himself, but the majority of Gaia and Mermia is very loud over the side-effects of his mechanical and industrial services. Their concentration of petty issues led them to still be pretty backward.

It was true what Kiiro warned and understood about relationships. Humans, like animals, wanted to "taste better creatures, or people." He would understand that she will really find someone better than him, and the reverse is true of him true. he said in time, both of them will find a better mate, even though Rin is a synth machine of 300 IQ, modeled after human females and cockroach bio-mimicry. He said when that happens, he wishes "that they would understand each other."

They arrive on Synthesia, In preparation for the battle...

"So Rin, have you found someone you would say good bye?" Kiiro asked.

"Well, anata, it indeed happened."

"...OK.... who was the person?"

"...Kuro...I wanted to help him be like you... and he is now just a cooler and darker version of you, but he wanted to be one without being a bloodthirsty, power-hungry maniac like Captinus....I guess by then you already have a woman, too."

"Lucy....a cyborg that tried to kill me... I showed him the Lantern mineral resource that powers my suit... It would seem she would like to escape and kill his corporate family when necessary. Sometimes I wonder if we picked the right ones to help..."

Rin sighed. "Hhhh... Well now, we are all charged with protecting the Semiconductor. If anything happens to it, the Vicegerents and Corporates will gain untold power. Kuro and I are willing to help... along with the Converters."

"I guess this is an unlikely joint effort. Lucy and Clutch have been waiting on the Air force base here."

At the briefing room...

Rin iterates the strategy of the mission.

All Converters should ready your position on the vital perimeters of the semiconductor. You will act as support on the turrets and the Tesla Cannons stationed.

Synths , Armored Anarchists and Mermians, push the offensive once the attack on the Turrets commence. Place all runes to debuff enemies beforehand. leave the strongest spells until the last offensive.

We may die this day, but we will protect our livelihoods down to the last being. We shall face this inevitable cycle. May the Semiconductor and the Creator protect us.
