My AFT followers disappeared and won’t summon, any way I can get them back?

This is a very specific situation I’m not sure anyone will know but no harm in asking anyway. So at the end of the siren root quest all the characters go their own way but I like to have them hang around the legacy of the Dragonborn museum by using aft on them and using “dismiss but hang around here” inside. I know this is generally what your NOT supposed to do with AFT but I’ve done it in the past and I haven’t had an issue until now, but I’ve just entered the museum and everyone except the argonian is gone, when I use the summon all feature the missing characters do not come back. I know there’s a 90% chance they’re gone for good but I’m holding out hope that someone out there knows some secret trick or something.
