I vacuum every day for the dog hair. My partner is allergic to the dog. The vacuuming doesn't seem to be helping her symptoms at all — if anything she says it's worse on the days I run it

We have a lab. My partner has a dog dander allergy but we were together before the dog so here we are. I run the robot every single morning before she wakes up. For the first few months it seemed to help. Now she's started commenting that her eyes are worse on days she can tell the robot ran — not just bad days in general, specifically the days after I've vacuumed. I have a theory that the vacuum is picking up the hair and larger dander but the motor is blowing the finer particles back into the air. I don't have data to back this up but it's the only explanation that makes sense. Has anyone figured out whether robot vacuum exhaust is a real issue for pet dander allergies?
