Trying to improve my breath-hold for snorkeling, built an app for it
Hello,
I’m a big snorkeling fan and really into marine biology. I love spotting things like Christmas tree worms, mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, octopus, cuttlefish, manta rays… but a lot of the best stuff is a bit deeper or tucked under corals, and I kept getting frustrated because I can’t stay underwater that long.
I’ve done quite a bit of scuba already, but I prefer staying fully free in the water, so I started working on my breath-hold. I couldn’t find an app that felt right for that, so I ended up building one.
It has guided breath-hold training, customizable tables, breathing exercises, and a lot of data tracking (I’m a bit of a data nerd). The goal is just to help stay longer underwater in a simple way.
I’d really like advice from people here. If you’re into snorkeling, how do you work on your breath-hold? Do you use any apps or methods that actually help? And if you do use an app, what features or data matter most to you?
I can also transfer data from other apps, so if you already use one, I’d love to understand what kind of data you’d want to keep.
I still have around 90 premium codes to give away. If you’re up for trying it and sharing honest feedback, I’ll send you free lifetime access.
If you’re interested, just contact me and I’ll send you a code.
Thanks
