Need help in buying a scrambler cafe racer, and what to look for when buying from a private party.

I'm interested in buying a 2020 Scramble Cafe Racer from a private party. What should I look for in the bike to make sure it is in good condition, and if it is a good bike to buy? Also, what is the cost of ownership and major maintenance milestones, what is the average number of miles for that year and model, and at what price would this be a good deal? Right now, the person says the mileage is 2.5k, the condition is very good, and it has 3 service records. Do you think the mileage is too low for a 2020 model? Could this be a scam? It looks like a legit posting on the marketplace, and he has a history of selling and receiving reviews. What should I be cautious about when buying? If anyone can help me and give some advice, it would be most appreciated. Thanks!!
