Ghkcu dry skin/no change

Im 29F. I am on my 3rd week of ghkcu 1mg every day. My skin is so dry like peeling around my mouth dry and I have not seen any positive improvements. Yes, I have been taking zinc daily. Am I doing something wrong? Should I up my dosage? Or is there another peptide I should consider? Glutathione?
