parents disappointed over piercing

hi! i just wanted some advice on what i'm feeling right now. i'm 20, i'm almost done with my sophomore year of college. i'm an out of state student. i've been wanting a nose piercing for years, since before high school, but my parents have always been against it. they got my ears pierced at a young age but they dont believe in any other kind of piercing, especially facial ones like a nose piercing.

i respected their decision even after i got to college since they really are incredible parents. they spoil me a lot, they're paying for my tuition and pretty much everything else in my life so that i can focus on school, so i especially did not want to disappoint them.

butttt yesterday i was out with my friend pretty late and we made a spontaneous decision to get piercings together and i got a nose piercing.

i picked up my mom's facetime today, wanting to just get her reaction over with, and her reaction was even worse than i expected. she's really pissed at me, and i haven't heard from my dad so i don't even know how he feels about it.

i really like the piercing but i can't stop feeling guilty now and i'd really appreciate any advice on how to deal with this guilt and/or if i should just take out the piercing :(

ps: i at least didn't use their money for the piercing, i used cash ive gotten from friends on birthdays/holidays etc
