guy im seeing hasn’t texted in 48 hours

hi! this is my first time seeing someone who is very active in the military. for context, the guy im seeing is in the uscg and works as an officer. he goes underway/is on call often, especially if “the boat breaks” (still kinda unsure what his job is).

but I’ve been really anxious because when we first started talking, he was really good about texting even if it was late at night, even on the boat. but he recently told me had to go for a whole week (which made him really unhappy just because he’s also unhappy with his job), and we even kinda planned a date for when he comes back. i’m in the middle of that weak but he’s been either a) dry texting or b) doesn’t text me for a day. it’s been 48 hours and I still haven’t heard from him. should I be worried?
