Can you tint your windshield without making it darker?

Probably a stupid question but is there a clear tint that reflects UV rays and heat the same way a dark tint would but one that doesn't make the windshield darker? I'm getting 25% on the other five and I would get it on the windshield but I'm afraid it would make it harder to see at night.
