Strong armed people/cyclists available Wed Morning? 4/8 Dupont Circle

I have tried to switch out the pedals on my bike but I am unable to keep the bike stable AND turn the wrench (I can't turn the wrench at all actually oops). It seems simple enough and I know of a few outdoor bike stations with a pedal wrench.

The shop I like to take my bike to is closed all of my days off and I'm hesitant to take it other shops (Conte's) because of not great past experiences.

If anyone would also like to ride together at some point, feel free to comment! My riding friend is out of town for a month so I have been ~alone~.
