Pet Fee (FL)

Moving out at the end of the month and trying to get an understanding of what I may be charged for. I have one cat who has never made any mess on the carpet. Prior to moving in, I paid a non-refundable fee of $350 for her in addition to $25/mo pet rent. This is listed as a fee, not a deposit, with no further explanation in the lease. Also within the lease, it states that we will be charged for carpet shampooing and that we are not allowed to arrange this ourselves.

My question is- was the pet fee for the shampooing, or will it be taken from the regular deposit we paid for the apartment? It's not stated in the lease.

It seems kinda greedy to just charge $350 for no actual stated reason and to charge another inevitable fee upon move out, but it wouldn't surprise me.
