Keyboard gaming setup for iPad recs?

My kid has been asking to use my laptop to play Minecraft, Roblox and other games so she can use the keyboard controls and mouse. I'm planning to get her some kind of setup to turn her iPad (11th Gen) into a little desktop station so she can play games without having to use the touchscreen, and also practice typing. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what might work best? Are there wireless keyboards that are responsive enough to work with iPads as game controllers, or would it be laggy? Thanks so much for your help.
