I know there have been a lot of special order posts since we're in the spring season, but I wanted to share my experience as some information might be helpful to others!

I've been shopping with my SA for about 5 years, and I'm not a big spender in terms of Hermes. I think my first year, I spent about $4k total, and it took 2 years for me to get offered my gold K25 in 2023. In 2024, I started to get into RTW and homeware... Wow did my spending go up 😂 I don't have a standing wishlist with my SA, so I didn't get a bag until fall of 2025, when I received a rose sakura KP after asking for it several months earlier.

Fast forward to 2026, I was picking up more RTW (I love their cashmere sweaters!!) when my SA asked if I would be interested in doing an a la carte order. Who would say no? Definitely not me! I said that would be awesome if possible and she said okay, and that was the end of that conversation. She also asked me what I wanted for my next QB and I gave her some options.

When March came and everyone started posting about their SO appointments, I thought my chance was over because I hadn't heard back from my SA. I texted her about a skirt I was interested in and she said I might get an invite soon, so I was excited. Turned out to be the private sale 🤦‍♀️

When I asked her about it after my watch appointment, she said she hadn't heard back about my nomination. She said she would let me know if she got any updates. Omg it was like the kiss of death.

But when the end of March rolled around, I got the text! I was nominated!!

My appointment was scheduled for the following week, and it was really fun! I was torn between an MK or a B25 but I 100% wanted chevre because it's one of my favorite leathers. That sheen is to die for! My SA let me try on an MK in store and it does not hold much, whereas the pochette is a perfect size, so I ultimately went with a B25. She said B25 in chevre is extremely rare which makes it worth making in SO, so that's what we did.

I went in wanting Ardoise but the swatch was gone and I didn't want to order a color sight unseen. So I went with a navy chevre B25 verso with gris pantin interior, bleu zellige stitching and brushed palladium hardware. It is a full on cool-toned bag; neutral but the stitching really pops so I hope it looks good 😂
