Hey there. I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to share their thoughts on my bloodwork. If you want more information on any of my other health issues or any symptoms I’m currently having feel free to ask please. 

These tests were drawn when I had been upright for over 30 min… the lower AM cortisol was the first result I got and the higher one was the second one I received on recheck. The first one was taken at about 8:40 am and the second tests were taken at 9:39 am. 

Also, I was taking 4-5000mg of sodium at the time of this blood draw for what my doctor and I thought were symptoms of POTS, however now we are unsure and I have reduced the sodium to a way lower amount. My heart rate acts stereotypically in the way it would if I were to have POTS, rising over 30BPM when I stand, staying tachycardic, dropping significantly upon sitting or lying down, heat intolerance and I experience blood pooling, dizziness, HR rises the most in the shower, nausea, shortness of breath etc. however my BP does not respond typically as it would with POTS. 

So, as I understand it I was kind of doing my own salt loading test and my aldosterone were I responding normally should have been almost zero or zero? 

I am also wondering what your opinions are on the likely hood of secondary adrenal insufficiency? My cortisol did come up into normal range, however the note says if it’s not over 350 it can still indicate adrenal insufficiency and if I understand correctly, but I totally could not be, that is why I am coming to you guys because you are the experts and I am not, if my cortisol is on the lower end my ACTH should be higher to compensate? 

Also, I included my electrolyte levels that were taken a week apart when I was in the hospital last July for a post dural puncture headache/CSF leak and then again a week later when the 600mg of straight caffeine pills they prescribed me to help heal the leak naturally at home had my HR up around 170 just standing in my kitchen at home. My co2 has been consistently low, and my chloride high, and I have also been supplementing magnesium and potassium along with my sodium. 

I don’t know if this is relevant at all but I have 2 thyroid nodules they’ve found that I’m waiting to have biopsied on May 29th, and I have an appointment booked with an endocrinologist for July 30th, I am just hoping to get some insight before then. 

I managed to have my doctor refer me and have a booked appointment the next morning within less than 24 hours which is a modern miracle in my province right now. 

I also included the history of my sodium and potassium levels, if that helps at all. 

Can anyone also tell me if there are any vitals or symptoms that are going to be most helpful to track for the endocrinologist in the meantime?
