Need Advice

I’m currently a college student working as an underwriting assistant at a large insurance company, and I’m trying to figure out if underwriting is the right long term career path for me. I’d love to hear from others in underwriting, what’s your salary range and years of experience? Also, are there specific certifications or exams I should be taking advantage of while I’m at this company to better prepare for an underwriting role after graduation?
