3D movie night question

Hi, not sure if this is the right sub, but my son wants to do a backyard 3D movie night for his birthday. We have a digital projector that will play movies off a firestick or USB drive but I don’t really know what it would take to play 3D dvds. Is there any type of cost effective set up to make this happen? (Do they even stream 3D movies?) We have a movie screen, just need the right projector and dvd player. Thanks in advance.
