Can’t Get Past First Online Battle

When it forces me to play an online match, it tries to find a match and then disconnects me and says I am not connected to the network. Then I go in and out and it does it again, but a match was found. Did this five times to even start the match. Match starts. I make a move and it DCs me again in the same way. Got to the 2nd Pokemon of this match and am stuck in ‘communicating’. This is after going in and out a bunch and clearing cache and getting past random black screens. It is just straight broken.
