Possible dark romance bookclub event help!

Hello hello! I’m thinking about hosting a dark romance book club at my parents restaurant! A little bit of advertising for them but also because making friends in your 30s is close to impossible. So an environment where we all like the same thing would be a cool way to meet people.

But I truly have NO CLUE what I’m doing! It’s a Georgian restaurant (the country not state) so they’d be serving traditional food and wine. I was thinking maybe 30-40 dollars a person to cover the food and wine that would be basically unlimited for 2 hours.

But that part isn’t the issue! The issue is that I’m not the most creative person but I do have a handful of ideas for the 2 hours of the “bookclub”.

First night would be an ice breaker night so I wanted to do little games. Maybe dark romance bingo? Or a game where we have to convince our grandmas to read certain REALLY spicy books by making them sound wholesome (example: Credence is just a book about family coming together!)

I could use some help on ideas to make this more fun and a big opener to doing it every month!
