Dexcom G7 Sensor Dangerous?!
Hi okay, so I have began using the G7 as they are now covered in my country. I wear the tandem T-slim with the dexcom automatic corrections. I have never experienced such poor readings from a sensor before. It is constantly reading higher than my actual blood sugar and giving me a correction based on that sugar causing me severe lows. For example I am getting a reading of 19.2mmol/L when I tested with finger poke my sugar was actually 15.7mmol/L. My pump is then correcting approximately 3 more units then I actually need. Last night I experienced 4 low blood sugars all under 3.2mmol/L. I have never had this problem with the G6 and I’m so frustrated.
Why on Earth are they pushing this sensor so hard and discontinuing the one that actually works?! This is extremely dangerous and could get someone hurt.
