CarPlay usb port

I have come to believe the usb port under the infotainment system is defective. It constantly disconnects CarPlay from the slightest movement. If I hold the cord (brand new oem iPhone lightning cable) in place then let go it works up until I hit a bump in the road, or until I pick up my phone from my lap. Then it’s a constant loop between radio and CarPlay connection. Is it possible to replace the usb port only? TIA
