Hair stayed frizzy with ID, should I try Coanda?

I have extremely coarse type 2B hair that was still frizzy with the airwrap ID (bought and returned 2X). I’m looking for a smooth blowout and wouldn’t want to use the curling or straightening attachments, just the round brush.

Does anyone else have similar hair and experienced a difference with the Coanda? It sounds like people are complaining that it gets too hot which sounds like a pro for me. Not sure if I should splurge or continue using the Revlon which does give nice results.
