Tanzania pronunciation?

I just spoke with a man who frequently visits Tanzania/ works closely with Tanzanians who pronounces the country name like "Tan-zany-ah" (with the middle two syllables being pronounced just like the English word "zany"), but the Swahili language app I use says it like "Tan-zah-nee-yah".

Which one is correct, or are there multiple ways of saying it? Thanks very much!
