Unmatched or technical error?

Hi, I fiiiiinally matched with someone as a free user and I thought the convo started off well but now the match is just gone! I guess he could have unmatched, but it really didn’t seem to be going that way and I couldn’t read his last message. Once you match with someone, do they stay in your “likes” or go away? I am assuming I had to like his profile in order to match, and it’s not in my likes, so maybe unmatched or blocked? Maybe I was unmatched but it seemed surprising based on the convo 😅
