AI for gender affirmation & editing: Can we use these tools ethically?

I recently posted about how a voice-changer in ARC Raiders gave me huge gender affirmation, but I got pretty grilled over the ethics of AI.

Now I’m second-guessing using AI even just to help edit my blog. I’m not asking it to write my story—I’m using it to refine my own voice—but the community backlash makes it feel like a moral failing.

How do you deal with the guilt when a tool that actually helps you navigate the world is seen as "evil" by everyone else? Is there a way to use this knowledgeably without being the "bad guy"?
