Does the game use bots when there’s no one to match with?
Can’t tell if my first couple of matches was against actual people or bots.
Literally had someone only use taunt and nothing else during beginner rank and my first two pokeball ranked matches had questionable decisions as well (albeit they actually did damage).
The last one had someone using beedrill gengar and palafin. They led with beedrill which died in one hit to choice scarf hisuian samourott using a flying move, switched into palafin, immediately flip turned into gengar, and then proceeded to try to use venoshock which i switched into leftovers sandstorm tyranitar on. I used dragon dance because i expected them to swap back to palafin (which i was trying to bait out into my queenly majesty tsareena) but instead they chose to spam night shade. They then proceeded to let me dragon dance again opting for another night shade. At that point i used knock off to OHKO gengar. Then out came the transformed palafin which i expected jet punch from so i swapped into tsareena (in hindsight probably a misplay over using the boosted ttar) but instead got hit by some other water move i dont recall which didnt do much. I then ended the match with power whip or whatever its called against a failed jet punch.
That felt human but also weird. Am i facing bots? Are bots a thing?
