GCP suspended for enabling Drive, Sheets, and Docs APIs — false positive? No human response after 1+ week

Open | Software

My Google Cloud was suspended the moment I enabled the Google Drive, Sheets, and Docs APIs on a new project — and I'm completely at a loss as to why.

**The context:** I was building a simple personal tool to generate educational exercises for my child using an LLM agent, with the results saved to Google Docs for printing. Nothing commercial, nothing shady.

**What happened:** While setting up, I accidentally enabled Drive and Sheets alongside Docs — I got confused between the three. I never actually called those APIs. No data was read or written. No quotas were touched. GCP was blocked instantly, before I even ran a single line of code.

**The appeals nightmare:** I've now submitted multiple appeals over more than a week. Google promises a 48-hour response. What I've gotten is a wall of automated replies and silence. No human has reviewed my case.

I genuinely don't know what policy I supposedly violated, and neither does any LLM I've asked — because as far as I can tell, I didn't violate anything.

Has anyone been through this? How did you actually get a human at Google to look at your case? Any escalation paths that worked?
