Marriage Certificate timeline update - April 2026

We had our ceremony on January 26, 2026. Applied for a certificate one week later. It has been ten weeks since the ceremony. The online portal changed from "Awaiting event registration" to "Processing" so I decided to call for an update.

They told me they have been working over the weekends to reduce the wait times. It has gone from 16 to 13 weeks. They told me to call back in exactly three weeks and they will escalate if it isn't already completed.

Just wanted to put that info up for anyone else like me who scours this sub every day for new updates and information.
