Rental situation.

Is the rental market seriously that scarce and inflated right now? How long does it usually take to secure something decent. If I have a budget of 300-3500 is a 2 bedroom possible? Willing to get a scooter to travel.

I know these may have been answered before but just getting a current perspective on this.
