Broken study keeps showing up

Question: Any reason why some researchers keep broken studies active? The same one(s) remain in my studies but they don’t work. They’re broken on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. The same error pops up every time- "Something went wrong. An error occurred while starting the survey. Please try again."

What are they getting out of not pulling the studies and actually fixing them?
