We kept missing events in Dublin, so we built something to fix it, we'd love any feedback

My friends and I are final year students in DCU, and for our project we decided to build something around a problem we kept running into. We’d only hear about gigs, pop-ups, or events we'd have loved to go to after they’d already happened.

Everything just felt scattered across social media and different sites, and it was way too easy to miss stuff. So we ended up building an app called Locanter to try solve that. It shows you events on a map and has a personalised feed based on what’s happening around you.

We only just launched, so it’s still very early, we'd love to hear what people think.
