Can we not terrify our cats please.

I'm a huge cat lover and recently I've been seeing a really disturbing trend (mostly on Tiktok) of people terrifying their cats. When I say this I mean having their cat in the car with them without a carrier as they go through a car wash. I might be more sensitive to this but it disgusts me how no one seems to care??? like I've heard of a very similar situation happening with an ex friend of mine who had a cat and was always dragging it around like a toy and having it come in the car with her when it was very scared. at some point it scratched my ex friends face from how fearful it was and it was growling at my ex friend. I don't blame the cat at all in that situation because it had clearly been warning my ex friend about this for a long time. That was when the cat finally wasn't forced to be in the car without a carrier.

I think it's very different from sneaking around the corner and startling your cat a bit which can just be playful fun if you do it correctly and putting them in a situation where that have no sense of what's going on and are in fear for there safety due to something they did not need to go through. there is no reason to do it outside for your own sick enjoyment. it's not funny to terrify your cats for views or so you can have a laugh at there reaction because these are living being. It's just crazy to me that no one seems to care or at least no one is speaking about it? It's disgusting to me.
