your framer website looks perfect but isn't showing up in google. here's probably why
i've been running seo audits on small business websites and the pattern is pretty consistent
the site looks great. clean design, good photos, loads fast, everything seems fine. but when you check what google actually sees, there's usually 10-15 issues sitting under the hood
common stuff:
- missing meta descriptions (so google writes its own, and it's usually bad)
- images with no alt text (google can't read images, needs text)
- broken heading structure that confuses search engines
- pages that aren't telling google what they're actually about
none of this is visible when you're just looking at your site. customers won't notice. but google does, and it directly affects whether you show up on page 1 or page 5 when someone searches for what you do
the frustrating part is most website builders (framer, wix, squarespace, etc) make it super easy to build something that looks good. but the seo part? that's still on you, and most people don't know what to check
if you're paying for a website but not getting calls or inquiries from google, it's probably worth running an audit to see what's actually broken
happy to answer questions if anyone's dealing with this
