help regarding tds

Hi, I genuinely need some guidance regarding my salary deductions.I worked at a private hospital from July 2024 to January 2025. My offered salary was ₹40,000 per month, but I was receiving around ₹36,000.Initially, I was told the deduction was for PF, but after some research (and help from Reddit), I came to know its TDS.Now I’m confused about:

•	What exactly is TDS?

•	If it is TDS, how can I claim the deducted amount (24,000 total)?

•	HR mentioned something about filling a form, but didn’t explain clearly.

I’ve tried searching online but couldn’t fully understand the process.

Could someone please guide me step-by-step on how to claim this amount?
